Take plastic milk jug cut out a long rectangle for the body (head, thorax and abdomen) and two sets of wings each about 1 1/2 the length of the body.
Next color the body with stripes using bright Sharpie pens. Color the wings randomly. Choose different colour sets for each dragonfly. Then rub the colors and get tie dye look.
Now with the help of sharpies on the wings draw some veins with the Sharpies.
To make the dragonfly’s body we tightly rolled the plastic rectangle and used a glue gun to hold it in place. We tried to make it slightly wider at the head end and narrower at the tail end.
Then we glued on a pair of forewings and hind wings and some cute googly eyes. Lastly, dragonfly craft needed its 6 insect legs so cut out from the milk jug plastic, coloured them black with a Sharpie and glue them in place.
