Begin by printing out the pattern full scale on a piece of 8.5? by 11? paper: Next, fold the fabric in half and place the pattern on the fold as indicated. Cut out the fabric leaving the fold portion uncut. Repeat with the interfacing/stabilizer. You will also need to cut a rectangle out of both the fabric and interfacing that measure 4? by 6.5?.
Next, iron the fabric to the stabilizer. Then it is time to fold the wallet. Begin by folding in each side of the diamond piece towards the center fold.
Then, fold in the pointed sides tucking one into the other to hold it in place.
Once you have the wallet folded, insert the rectangle piece between the two layers of the triangle fold to create a solid back to the wallet.
The final step is to add a bit of fabric glue between the rectangle and the back of the wallet to keep it in place. At this time you can also glue in pom pom trim if you want a little pom pom action!
