Anicorn, Hong Kong-based watchmaker and Design Company has joined forces with NASA on a limited edition watch celebrating the space exploration program’s 60th anniversary. The timepiece features a metal plate unique to the collaboration and will only run in a limited quantity of 60 units, each one numbered and marked on the watch movement. The full package includes a ceramic coating provided by cerakote, a ‘world leader in thin film ceramic coating technology’. It also features a white textile strap featuring embroidery of NASA’s logo; GPS coordinates of the Kennedy space center in Florida, and a metal warranty plate. NASA has led the peaceful exploration of space, for six decades, making discoveries about our planet, our solar system, and our universe. In aviation NASA research has made great advances, helping to develop a commercial space industry, enrich our economy, create jobs, and strengthen national security.
