A fan club in Kolkata is going to install the statues of the music maestros Kishore Kumar and SD Burman in next week. On October 22, Kishore Kumar son, Amit Kumar, would inaugurate the statues, in presence of Kolkata Municipal Corporation's Mayor-in-Council Debasish Kumar.Earlier, the fan club set up a bust of RD Barman on the Southern Avenue-Keyatala Road connector in Kolkata.The two statues would be installed right opposite to RD Burman's bust."While SD Burman had once lived at Southend Park in Dhakuria area, Kishore Kumar also shared a close connection with this metropolis as he married Kolkata's Ruma Guha Thakurta. The Son of Kishore Kumar, Amit also lived in Kolkata for a few years.Amit, who is also a popular singer wrote a message to his fan club that he was thrilled by the initiative and he is good to know that SD Burman and Kishore Kumar would be joining Pancham da in Kolkata soon.The place with all three statues will be a must-visit for all music lovers. SD Burman and Kishore Da were known to have shared an endearing relationship.The two had delivered many evergreen songs, including 'Qusooraapkahuzooraapka' (Bahaar-1951), 'Dukhi man mere sun merakahna (Funtoosh-1956)', and 'Ekladkibheegibhagisi (ChaltiKaNaamGaadi 1958)'.
